Our Omaha grass fields are managed by the Omaha FC properties so the best we can maintain their quality. These outdoor fields are located all over the city to accommodate families in all areas.

2.  Best Staff and Coaches

Sporting Nebraska FC employs qualified and experienced coaching staff for all of our teams. Along with the vast years of experience, our staff also holds the largest number of coaching licenses in the state. Not only that, but our number of current and former Division I head and assistant coaches, as well as many former Division I student-athletes is outstanding. What sets the Sporting Nebraska FC staff from the rest is they are clearly the most successful in team achievements and individual players successes. Since its creation in 2009, no other club has sent more teams to the Region II Championship on either the boys or girls side than Sporting Nebraska FC.

3.  Best Route to the Next Level

Whether it is developing players for Division I, II, III or NAIA levels of collegiate soccer or youth national teams or the professional ranks, Sporting Nebraska FC provides the best opportunity to accomplish these goals. Sporting Nebraska FC holds the largest number of players moving onto college in the state. We have both National and Regional platforms for our boys and girls program which allows our players to play in the top Showcases across the U.S.

4.  Best Continuing Education for Players and Parents

5.  Sporting KC affiliate

Sporting Nebraska FC is a Sporting KC Academy Affiliate and provides the true pathway to the MLS in the Lincoln and Omaha metro area. Over the years we have had a number of Sporting Nebraska FC players offered roster spots on SKC’s US Development Academy teams. This affiliation allows our coaches direct access to an unlimited source of continuing education such as experiencing first team training and pre game talks. It also provides our teams/players with direct access to many benefits such as reduced game tickets, stadium tours, and affiliate showcases.

Team formation policy:

The primary purpose of team formation events is to evaluate and to place individuals onto teams that are developmentally appropriate for each player.

Children develop at different stages and it is important for players who at this time have similar abilities of technical, tactical, physical, and psychological abilities and/or knowledge of the game.

Specific age group coaches in conjunction with gender specific Director of Coaching, work together collaboratively to place each player appropriately on a team within our club.

As a result of this collaborative effort, players may also see their team placement change during the year. Reasons for change may include but are not limited to injury or illness as well as promoting players for their hard work and improvement. The ultimate goal is for players to be successful at every level of the game.

Our coaching staff is committed to developing players the right way and they take that commitment very seriously when placing players on specific teams. Players who are not offered aposition on a select team will be referred and encouraged to register for the Sporting Omaha FC recreational program allowing players to continue their development and enjoyment of the game.
