On-Field Referee Training w/the NRDP Trainer - Dave Glatte

When: Wednesday, April 5th

Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: OSC (Omaha Sports Complex, located at 14706 Giles Road, Omaha, NE)

 

It is open to those certified, getting certified, or those interested in being a referee.

Get paid doing what you love! We are looking for club players that are 13 years of age and older to become certified referees. The NRDP and NE State Soccer organizations are working together to provide opportunities for players to get certified and trained.

​

Why become a referee:

  • Once you are certified you can get the basic ref kit for FREE (from Soccer Internationale)

  • Pay scales range from

    • NYSL: $18-$40 (AR) per game and $28-$75 per game for a head referee 

    • Sporting NE Rec games: $32 per game

  • You make your schedule

  • Sporting Nebraska is offering ADDITIONAL PERKS (check out details below)

Referee Incentive Program 

Newly Certified Referees (only Sporting NE members)

Eligible for 40% of registration fee paid ($33.20 discount)

  • Once you register, pay for your certification, and are certified, you become eligible for the discount after you work at least ( 5 ) In-house REC games. You will be reimbursed the $33.20 once you complete your fifth game and submit that information to Renee at ReneeW@SportingNebraskaFC.com.

 

Incentive Bonuses (open to all referees)

In addition to the reimbursement, we are offering some more incentives when you referee the following:

  • 1 to 3 Games worked = Small Bonus Item

  • 4 to 6 Games worked = Raffle entry + Small Bonus Item

  • 7 to 9 Games worked = Raffle entry + Medium Bonus Item

  • 10+ Games worked = Double Raffle entry + Small Bonus Item + Medium Bonus Item

 

Examples Incentive Rewards: air pump, utility kit, alternate jersey, gift certificate, etc...

In-house REC games are scheduled at Millard Star and the JCC, double headers (5:45pm & 7pm)
