Welcome Daphne Nierop to the UWS Staff

The Sporting Nebraska UWS team welcomes Daphne Nierop. Daphne originally from Holland, moved to the US in 2019 to play D1 Soccer for Creighton. She graduated in December 2021 after finishing out season with the team and getting a a degree in Public relations, News, and Graphic Design.

Her contagious passion for the game, leadership and creating positive relationships fits perfectly into the environment we are looking to create. Before coming to the United States, Daphne played soccer at a professional level and played for the Youth National Teams u15’s until u19 with as highlight the European Championship U19 in Swiss. Next to playing soccer, she received her UEFA C Coaching license, pursued a degree in Sport & Coaching at the Johan Cruyff College in Amsterdam, and earned my Propadeutics in Sports management.

Daphne is also an independent business owner and founder of The Athletic Baker. She has a podcast called Life Talks w/ Daph which is all about inspiration through conversation.
