Sporting NE FC welcomes Kevin Lebahn to the staff

We are proud to announce Kevin Lebahn to our Sporting NE FC coaching staff. Kevin will be the Assistant Goalkeeper Director for our players.

Coach Lebahn came to Sporting NE after moving to the metro area in 2021 to become the Goalkeeper Coach at Iowa Western CC. He will hold dual positions with the club and IWCC. Lebahn previously held the position of assistant/goalkeeper coach at Augsburg University (MN) from 2016-2021. He was also an assistant coach in 2020-21 for the UPSL side, Minneapolis City. Lebahn currently holds the United Soccer Coaches Level 3 GK Diploma, USSF "C" license.

Lebahn was an all-conference goalkeeper, a four-year player for St. Johns (MN) University, and finished his career with a 34-20-6 record with 16 shutouts. He recorded 265 saves (.803 save percentage) in 60 game appearances in his career, claiming a 1.08 goals-against-average.
