Coaches of the Month

We want to announce our Sporting Nebraska Competitive Coaches of the Month. Both of these coaches bring a lot to our organization and go above and beyond.

Coach of the Month - Saxx Adams

Saxx Adams has been part of the Sporting Nebraska FC coaching staff for almost five years. In that time, he has worked with a wide variety of our players while spending much of his time with our u8 Boys’ Pre-Academy program. Saxx has been ambitious pursuing his coaching licenses as well, having completed all Grassroots certifications. His engagement with players and fellow staff members alike is always positive and enjoyable and his investment in player development is obvious in the personal and technical growth of the players under his supervision. Coach of the Month - Jorge Zuniga

Jorge Zuniga has been a tremendous asset to Sporting Nebraska in his efforts with overseeing the Waverly Academy Soccer Program. He spent two years with the CSA group and is now in his first year with Sporting Nebraska. In addition to coaching teams, he has graciously offered his assistance on multiple occasions to help with program coordination to include ordering, tracking & delivery of uniforms. He also took on the responsibility of player assignments and coaching tasks for the Waverly staff. He even took the initiative to contact our Youth Director in regards to curriculum for the Waverly group, which displays Jorge’s commitment to player development. His proactive approach and positive, cheerful demeanor, make him an invaluable asset to the club and the Waverly program. Thank you for always having a smile on your face and for everything that you do. Congratulations Jorge!
