The impact of the Girls' DA in Nebraska soccer

With the fall portion of our first US Soccer Girls Development Academy season under our belts, Sporting Omaha FC has accomplished something that no other club in Nebraska has. We have brought the highest level of play in youth soccer to our doorstep. Sporting Omaha and the entire Nebraska soccer community is now a part of a national conversation about youth soccer development. Our direct link to US Soccer, our national governing body, allows us a voice in how future youth development will progress. No longer are we in the shadows of bigger metropolitan clubs.

We recently returned from the DA Winter Showcase where this was evident. Our games were attended by over 30 US Soccer Scouts and over 165 Division I college coaches. In addition to this unprecedented college exposure, the staff was involved in strategic planning meetings regarding youth development and competitive platforms. The future is now at Sporting Omaha FC!
