BRING ON THE SPRING SEASON
It's hard to believe that we are a few short weeks away from kicking off the spring soccer season. Our winter season was a success between the Recreational & Total Player Development camps reaching record numbers, the announcement of our acceptance into the United Women's Soccer (UWS) league, and, best of all, the donation made to our TOPsoccer program that will allow players will disabilities to enter our program for free. We also appreciate all of our members for your understanding and dedication to the COVID protocols we had to put in place. Right now, Nebraska is one of the lowest case states in the country and this is a reflection of all of you.
As we turn our gears from indoor to outdoor, there are a number of events to get excited for. This newsletter is packed with information, dates, and events coming up in the next couple of months. All of this information can be found on our website, so make sure to check frequently for updates.
We also want to tell all of our high school players good luck this spring representing your schools. We can't wait to come out and watch!
What's New
Sporting Nebraska FC was selected to be a part of the 2022 United Women's Soccer League Central Conference.
United Women’s Soccer (UWS) is a national pro-am league composed of professionally operated clubs within the United States and Canada. UWS provides high level competition for college players, aspiring and former professionals, and international stars.
Since February the Sporting Nebraska UWS team has signed over 18 players from surrounding colleges, clubs and from our program. We believe that this is another amazing pathway for our club players to pursue their dreams of continuing with the game.

Coming Up
Sibling's Day Fundraiser is this weekend!
Sunday: March 13th, 4-6pm
Location: Studio 108, 5701 S 108th St. Omaha, NE 68137
$20 Donation with 100% proceeds going to our Sporting Nebraska scholarship fund.
Photos will take 5 minutes and you will receive 2-4 digital images emailed to you. We will post the photos on April 10th as well!

We are soliciting your help. In preparation for the spring season, we have a few clean up / maintenance projects that could use your help out at Millard Star. On March 19th starting at 10am we invite anyone able and willing to come give us a hand. Use the sign up link below and we appreciate your help!
Get paid doing what you love! We are looking for club players that are 13 years of age and older to become certified referees. The NRDP and NE State Soccer organizations are working together to provide opportunities for players to get certified and trained.

40% ($33.20) of your registration fee will be reimbursed to you once you have completed your certification and have worked at least 5 in-house Rec league games.

The Nebraska Shootout is our spring club tournament held at the Speedway Village Complex in Lincoln. We are expecting a great turn out. To make this run as smoothly as possible we will be looking for volunteers to help out. Use this link below to register.
Mark your calendars! We will host tryouts both in Omaha and in Lincoln for our boys and girls Competitive & ECNL teams. Continue to check out TRYOUTS page for details on registration, times and days. There will be 2-3 sessions per age group during the tryout week. We recommend attending as many of your age group sessions as possible. Contact the age group coaches before tryouts if you have conflicts. The coaching list will be posted in May.

Sporting Nebraska FC is one of the largest soccer organizations in our community. As a nonprofit club, we are home to over 3,500 players ages four through nineteen. Our community expands from central and eastern Nebraska and through western Iowa. We have four outdoor training complexes and have the only full-size indoor field facility in Omaha.
Currently, we are working hard to raise funds for a number of our programs within the club, the largest being our Player Scholarship Fund. That’s why we are looking for sponsors to help us reach our goal.
There is a wide variety of options available if you want to sponsor: uniform, building, event, and program sponsorship are just a few. We offer all levels of sponsorship. Please contact us if you are interested so we can design the sponsor package appropriate for you.
